Mindfulness Courses for Education

Clare can offer to teach a variety of Mindfulness courses to school aged children from 7-17 years old. She has trained with Mindfulness in Schools Project and Youth Mindfulness. 

 Clare has also developed her own learning and teaching Wellbeing resources aimed at 10-15 year old pupils. Clare offers training for school staff on 6 week or 8 week Mindfulness courses. Clare can also train staff to teach and deliver learning and teaching materials to improve wellbeing.

Mindfulness 8 -week course aimed at staff in schools. This is an online course.

  • It consists of eight weekly 90 -minute sessions which will support you to develop your own mindfulness practice. 
  • It is also a requirement should you choose to train as a .b or Paws b mindfulness teacher for children or young people. 
  • The course is taught in groups online using Zoom for up to 20 people. 
  • Staff who have been on this course say they feel calmer, happier and more content. They report feeling more resilient when facing stress and difficulties and have improved wellbeing.

  • It is made up of  8 one-hour weekly lessons all packed with visuals, video clips, and activities that bring Mindfulness to life for young people.
  • Lessons will support learners to display a responsible attitude towards keeping the mind and body safe and healthy and develop positive attitudes towards themselves and others.

A wellbeing and mindfulness curriculum for 9-11 year olds.

  • It is made up of 12 lessons that can be delivered as 30-60 minute sessions. 
  • Students will receive a workbook and access to meditations to enhance the learning experience and certificates are given out at the end of the course.
