6-week Everyday Mindful Parenting Course

In this ‘Everyday Mindful Parenting Course’, parents will learn to apply the skills of mindfulness for themselves and to their experience of parenting their children. Each session will explore the essential principles of mindful parenting through a combination of exercises, guided meditation practices, and group discussions around the practical applications of mindful parenting in the daily lives of parents. These 6 sessions are sequential and it is highly recommended to attend all sessions to get the full benefit of the course. 

This course will support parents to:

  • Reduce parenting stress and parental reactivity to stress
  • Improve parenting and co-parenting skills
  • Take better care of yourself
  • Tolerate difficult emotions in yourself and your child/ren
  • Become more accepting of yourself and your child/ren
  • Recognise patterns in your own upbringing as they arise in the here-and-now relationship with your child/ren
  • Resolve conflict better with your child/ren
  • Develop more compassion for yourself and your child/ren
  • Experience mindfulness meditations
  • Learn the  importance of self-care and self-compassion to reduce parental stress
